Super Simple Applesauce

Super Simple Applesauce

For each quart of peeled, cored, and sliced apples add the following:

1 cup water
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt

Cook all ingredients until tender. Mash apples with a potato masher, electric mixer, or immersion blender until desired consistency is achieved. Serve warm or cold.
