About the Artist: Sarah R. Geisler
“Asparagus and radishes may be some of my favorites coming into season. As someone who works in mixology as well, spending my day coming up with new cocktail recipes, I just had to showcase my favorite mixed cocktail flavors,” Geisler says about this piece. “While strawberries are a little easier to get your hands on year-round, rhubarb is a bit more evasive until spring rolls around. So now is the perfect time to be whipping up strawberry rhubarb martinis, gin fizzes, or whatever you can dream up!”

Geisler is a local painter and illustrator in the Reno-Sparks area. From a young age, Geisler was inspired by movies and media with high fantasy themes, which became reflected in her artwork at the time. She always found the opportunity to sketch dragons and other beasts. In her current-day pieces, you’ll find that bold and bright color palettes, animals, and a variety of creatures are common. Geisler has created local art for the City of Reno, displayed her pieces at the Reno Tahoe International Art Show, and works in board game illustration as well. You can purchase her work at a handful of local events. Follow her at Sarahrart.com, or on Instagram at Serarenee.
