A.V.A. Ballet Theatre’s Frozen

The spring gala season for A.V.A. Ballet Theatre opens with the classic ballet Frozen on April 22nd and 23rd at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Choreographed by Alexander Van Alstyne, Frozen is the captivating story written by Hans Christian Andersen. When their kingdom becomes trapped in a perpetual winter, Anna joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff to find Anna’s sister, Snow Queen Elsa, and break the icy spell. This classic story is filled with mesmerizing dance, intrigue, and is fun for the entire family. The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the exciting score. Outstanding guest principal dancers from throughout the country will perform with the large cast from A.V.A. Ballet Theatre.

The Saturday April 22nd performance will be held at 8pm and the Sunday April 23rd performance will be at 2pm. Ticket prices for adults are $30 to $60. A.V.A. Ballet Theatre is the resident ballet company of the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts.
