Craving a pastrami sandwich instead? Your server can order from the Manhattan Deli next door and bring it to you in the sports bar, so you won’t miss a moment of the game on its multitude of expansive, wide-screen TVs.
After 24 years behind the bar, Sedillos is skilled in spirit experimentation, which lends itself well to crafting the Sports Bar & Lounge’s crave-worthy signature cocktails, including his personal spin on some classics.
“I take seasonal concepts, play around, and see what works,” Sedillos says. “It’s my hobby, my passion, and my job; it’s just what I do. Tasting the spirits is where it starts, and I have a pretty big arsenal ready to go.”
Tip back a Nevada Buck, a boozy concoction of locally distilled Frey Ranch whiskey, Combier Liqueur d’Orange, and ginger beer. Or lighten your mood with the Up in Smoke, made with Knob Creek Smoked Maple whiskey, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, Angostura bitters, and a brandied “filthy cherry.”
By the way, in case you couldn’t tell, the Sports Bar & Lounge is a whiskey-lover’s utopia.
