About Harp by Emily
Emily Montoya Barnes doesn’t just play the harp, she reimagines it. Grounded in a deep classical foundation, Emily has done everything a master’s-trained harpist is expected to do: soloed with orchestras from Panama to Germany, performed the full canon of harp literature, and held principal harpist roles with symphonies across the American West.
The harp is a stunning instrument with a rich, magical sound. It stands nearly 6 feet tall and was crafted by hand in Chicago.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you play my special song?
Yes! I love incorporating meaningful songs into your ceremony. If it isn’t already part of my repertoire, I will arrange it for harp.
Do you need amplification or special setup?
I provide my own amp for outdoor or large venues. All I require is a flat space, with shade if outdoors.
How far in advance do we need to finalize the music?
I recommend having your song selections finalized at least 2 weeks before your event. For short-notice weddings or elopements, I can accommodate faster turnarounds.
Do you require a deposit?
I do, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold the date, along with a signed contract. For last minute bookings, payment is due in full at time of booking.
