About the Artist: Carrie Lapolla
Lapolla is a Brooklyn-based illustrator and graphic designer with a passion for food illustration. Her illustrations have appeared on both print and digital surfaces, including features in Time magazine, solar eclipse graphics for Science Friday, and, most dear to Lapolla’s hot-dog-shaped heart, the menu at Crif Dogs. Other past clients include Brooklyn Industries, Talkhouse Podcast Network, and Newport Life magazine. She has a BFA in communications design from Pratt Institute.
