The Tahoe Symphony is honored to welcome one of America’s most beloved violin virtuosos, Elizabeth Pitcairn, for an intimate performance of Brahms Violin Concerto, performed on one of the world’s most legendary instruments, the Red Mendelssohn Stradivarius of 1720, said to have inspired the film The Red Violin.
Special guest piano soloist, Chuyoung Suter, opens the show in her company debut, bringing Greig’s emotional and timeless Piano Concerto in A Minor to life with a passionate, lyrical style that has earned her accolades worldwide.
