Power of the Purse

The celebration of women’s economic power takes center stage at an annual event where over 1000 guests gather at the Reno Ballroom. With women constituting more than half of the U.S. population and influencing 85% of consumer spending, this premier holiday shopping experience emphasizes supporting local vendors, indulging in food and beverages, and participating in a renowned high-end purse raffle. The event serves as a key fundraiser for the Nevada Women’s Fund, contributing to their scholarship and grant programs. Since 1983, the fund has awarded over $9.4 million in academic scholarships for women in Northern Nevada and granted funds to support women and children in the community.
