Pigs and Pinots

June 11, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$175

The highly anticipated Pigs & Pinot event is back at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. For one night only at The Pool at GSR, guests can enjoy a variety of dishes featuring locally raised pork paired with an exclusive selection of pinot noir wines all curated by Charlie Palmer Steak, Reno’s only celebrity chef-owned restaurant.

The poolside affair will feature various stations with a variety of dishes for guests to savor. Starting with charcuterie and cheese with all the accouterments, guests can move on to the main action station featuring whole roasted suckling Kalua pig served with pineapple macaroni salad and King’s Hawaiian rolls.

Other pork dishes included pork brats with sauerkraut and spicy beer mustard; smoked pork tenderloin served with red bean purée and chimichurri; pork belly tacos with Korean BBQ and kimchi; and smoked baby back pork ribs topped with barbecue sauce and green onion. For a vegetarian option, the menu also includes smoked black bean sliders with garlic aioli, lettuce, heirloom tomato and pickled red onion.

The dessert station will provide a sweet ending to the meal with a variety of Pigs & Pinot inspired delights.

Featured wineries include Twomey, Hartford Family Winery, Patz & Hall, Belle Glos, Boen, Gary Farrell, Flowers and Walt Wines.

All-inclusive tickets are now on sale and available for $175. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit grandsierraresort.com.
