On the first Saturday in October, the Carson Valley hosts the Scarecrow, Harvest Festival, and Annual Slaughterhouse Lane Coffin Races, organized by Main Street Gardens and East Fork Gallery. These events culminate in the Main Street Fall Fest at Heritage Park, featuring music, activities, demonstrations, and vendors.
