Dead Plant Society: Garlic Planting & Pickling

November 9 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Don’t be shy, get up clove and personal with us! In this workshop, you’ll learn all about choosing varieties suited for our region, planting techniques and garlic care through its life cycle. Plus, you’ll quick-pickle a jar of cloves to take home! Katie Colling and Cindy Gallimore from Soil Solidarity will share tips on healthy soils and community gardening. Each participant leaves with pickled garlic and cloves to plant, and one lucky Dead Plant Society raffle winner will score a special garden tool.
