Enjoy a casual atmosphere, original dance on the big BAC screen and a root beer and a brat to boot via food truck June 4-5 at 7:30 p.m., at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City. Sierra Nevada Ballet partners with the Brewery Arts Center and the Reno Little Theater to produce an exciting program that has become an annual tradition.

Brew, Brats and Ballet — A Celebration of New Choreography is modeled after Sacramento Ballet’s highly successful tradition of Beer and Ballet features brand new short choreographic works by local and out of state choreographers. Brew, Brats and Ballet offers audiences a chance to sample yummy brats while enjoying new eclectic choreographic offerings.

This year’s program features new works by Barbara Land (former Head of UNR Dance Program), Jennifer August (former Artistic Director of Black Rock Dance Company), Oliver Adams (dancer/choreographer from England and former dancer with Sacramento Ballet and Smuin Ballet), Ananda Bena-Weber (NY professional multidiscipline artist/choreographer/director), Alexander Biber (former Sacramento Ballet dancer/choreographer and SNB Choreographer in Residence) and SNB Artistic Director, Rosine Bena.
