The owners of Foothill Market are planning to open the shop as early as September, taking over the space that was the Genoa Country Store. The market will not operate as a full grocery store but will have just the essentials, plus a few extras, including a menu of sandwiches and salads, hot dogs, and soft-serve ice cream. There also will be a bar. While the concept may sound similar to its predecessor, the owners say the market will be completely different.
