Last week’s fare came from D.R.O.P.P, a program created by the Great Basin Community Food Co-op, which connects area farmers and ranchers to business and restaurant owners so they can more easily sell their products. Reno Provisions managers wanted to shine a spotlight on D.R.O.P.P. and feature some of its high-quality products created locally.
With D.R.O.P.P. veggies such as squash, tomatoes, and fresh herbs — Reno Provisions chefs created a vegetarian chili for last Friday’s Farmer-Rancher Nights dinner. It was full of flavor. The finishing touches included a fresh side salad and tasty garlic bread, made in-house.
Aside from the Farmer-Rancher Nights series featuring food from specific producers, Reno Provisions chefs offer dinner every night. As a special treat to guests, on Friday evenings diners enjoy live music. For details on Reno Provisions, including the location, visit here.
