Lovely River Views, Charming Gardens

Tucked away along the banks of the Truckee River you will find Reno’s biggest little secret – the River School Farm. The wedding venue is surrounded by a spacious amphitheater, an extraordinary stage, river view terraces with river access, and an intimate fire pit area. The sheltered garden areas feature an astonishing array of seasonal flowers, fruit trees, and grape vines. Come dance with the butterflies; show the kids our chickens, ducks, and goats.

The basic wedding package includes the use of the property for one calendar day; one stage; a sheltered amphitheater, fire pit, and burn barrels; river access; folding chairs and tables; wine barrels for decoration; and an outdoor prep area. Maximum capacity for events is 60 people.

If you are interested in bringing in green features for your special day, Tom and Iris can help. The farm has been designed to demonstrate a wide range of sustainable practices, including use of recycled materials, solar hot water, photovoltaic collectors, LED outdoor lighting, and on-site composting.

At the River School Farm, you’re encouraged to use recycled materials and limit your overall waste.
