Cucina Lupo, a Carson City restaurant owned by Mark Estee, has had its staffing shaken up a bit. In February, it was announced that Howard Jachens has returned to handle front-of-house operations.
The Overland Hotel
In late February 2024, it was announced that The Overland Hotel in Fallon (not to be confused with Minden’s Overland Restaurant & Pub) would be closing. Family health issues were cited as the reason.

The fourth and newest location of Great Basin Brewing Co., under the ownership of Mark Estee’s Reno Local Food Group, opened in Minden in February 2024. Great Basin has been serving the community for 30 years.
