Reno Food & Drink Week is a curated celebration of the chefs, restaurants, makers, and hospitality teams shaping Reno’s evolving culinary landscape. Throughout the event, guests are invited to explore exclusive offerings from standout establishments while rediscovering the creativity, craft, and hospitality that define our city’s food-and-drink community.

Establishment participation is earned and invitations are extended to a limited number of locations that consistently demonstrate exceptional execution, thoughtful hospitality, and standout food and drink.

Each participating establishment is selected through an ongoing evaluation process rooted in real guest experience, food and drink quality, community involvement, and adherence to health and safety standards. Participation is intentionally limited to preserve the integrity of the event and the quality of the guest experience.

Once the event begins, guests become part of the experience — visiting participating establishments, enjoying the featured offering and/or anything on the menu, and submitting an evaluation based on their experience.

Guest evaluations are not symbolic — they directly shape the outcome. Public scoring determines the top four establishments in both The Showcases and The Features categories. Those advancing move to a second level of evaluation through independent, post-event secret judging conducted under everyday operating conditions. Final recognition reflects a weighted combination of real guest experience and structured independent review.

Reno Food & Drink Week exists to uphold standards, celebrate excellence, and elevate Reno’s culinary landscape while strengthening the community that makes it possible.
