Growing Food & Connections in the Soulful Seeds Garden Class
May 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
This program will immerse you in the day-to-day of urban gardening in Nevada. You’ll spend time with Soulful Seeds, a non-profit organization growing free, fresh food for our neighbors, and connection and resiliency through our many programs offered. You will experience late Spring and early Summer in our gardens- From learning about our pollinators, harvesting garlic with Reno’s Garlic Guru (and our co-founder), to learning about our mission, pesticide-free farming and composting, and seizing the opportunity to stroll through our native-Nevadan plant garden and hoop houses. You’ll learn about Nevada gardening and ask your garden and produce-growing questions.
Join us for a four-part off-site seminar at the Soulful Gardens Campus, located at the corner of Glendale and Galetti Way. Sessions meet Fridays at noon, May 15 through June 5.
