Dead Plant Society: Preserving the Harvest – Apples

The first frost of the season means harvesting all of the garden’s goodness and turning it into tasty jams, pickles and other preserved foods. This workshop will focus on APPLES in two forms. Apple butter and apple jam. Join Urban Roots staff as we harvest, chop and ferment farm fresh produce to take home. Each participant will go home with their apple butter and apple ginger jam and one lucky Dead Plant Society raffle winner will take home a full canning set up!​
