Smith & River owners Colin and MaryBeth Smith pulled the plug on the Sierra Street restaurant on Feb. 15, 2025. The building will be taken over by Sergio Romero, who owns Midtownโs popular La Condesa and Rene Preciado, owner of Mexcal. Together, they opened Toro Bravo in the Riverwalk space in March 2025.
