Slim Chickens will open its first Reno location on July 21, 2025, on Steamboat Parkway. While it is Reno’s first Slim Chickens, a Sparks location has been operating since June 2023 on Los Altos Parkway. Both locations are owned by franchisee Roy Perez, who also owns 10 Jimboy’s Tacos locations in the Greater Sacramento area with plans to expand his footprint further into Northern Nevada. The menu features hand-breaded chicken specialties including sandwiches, tenders, salads, and more.
