Mr. Churros, a dessert food truck based in Reno, celebrated its grand opening Feb. 15, 2026. Owned by Jose and Alondra Hueso and Lorenzo Vega, the restaurant used to operate under Mr. Churros Hueso and sold at local events under a tent. The grand opening unveiled the company’s new mobile concept, which is typically parked at the Silverada Mall Friday-Sunday. However, they do often pop-up at Northern Nevada events including in Sparks and Virginia City.
The menu is short and sweet with three sizes of Jalisco-style churros plus sauce and toppings options. Sometimes the availability changes, but in general you can expect items such as chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, condensed milk, and fresh fruit.
