Dead Plant Society: Tomatoes 101

As the weather warms up, we start dreaming of summer’s most delicious bounty, TOMATOES! A classic crop, tomatoes can be tricky to seed, grow and fruit in our high desert climate. In this workshop, we’ll dive into all the nuances of growing this special red fruit including top varieties for Northern Nevada, frost protection, fertilization and fruiting. Everyone will go home with tomato seedlings to prepare for the snow melting off Peavine and getting your garden off to a great start!
