Bowling for Flavor
Hawaiian fusion and family festivity at Lake Tahoe.
Bowl Incline has hosted generations of bowling enthusiasts since 1965. Decades later, when members of the Tomkovicz family took the chance to purchase the Incline Village business in 2021, they wanted to create more than just a place to knock down pins โ they sought to establish an unforgettable hub of family entertainment.
Reinventing Tradition
Bowl Inclineโs eye-catching architecture and bubbly tunes are quick to thrill both the young and young at heart. Strategic renovations created an enhanced bowling experience featuring colorful lanes, thrilling arcade games, an expansive billiards room, and more.

In addition to renovating the property, the Tomkoviczes collaborated with family friend and Hawaiian celebrity chef Sam Choy to elevate the dining experience for guests. Known as the Godfather of Poke and winner of a 2004 James Beard award, Choy was excited to curate a menu of his cultural cuisine with familiar fan favorites.
โSamโs first venture in the restaurant industry was actually through his familyโs bowling alley on the Big Island, in Kona,โ says director of fun (and events) Alison Hollman, โso getting involved here felt like full circle to him.โ
Fusing Flavors
Choyโs recipes are brought to life by Bowl Inclineโs executive chef, Gary Swenson, who ensures that each culinary creation delivers a mouthwatering flavor profile. Noteworthy entrรฉes range from fresh musubi rolls and island-style sweet โnโ sticky chicken to mouthwatering kฤlua pork fries.

Sweet treats include Hawaiian passionfruit slushies, classic soft-serve ice cream, and Dole Whip, which comes with every childโs meal. Adult treats also are available at the bar, with imaginative cocktails and local craft beer.

Summertime Activities
Inside and out, Bowl Incline provides a great time for Tahoe tourists and the local community. An outdoor patio provides ample room for dinner and drinks as well as weekly outdoor events this season. Taco Tuesdays offer fresh flavors and margarita specials, and Tiki Thursdays feature tropical scorpion bowls and poopoo platters of delectable Hawaiian appetizers. With its summer music series on weekends, Bowl Incline is a destination for families all season.
โWeโve brought Hawaiian fusion and fun to Lake Tahoe,โ Hollman says, โbut even more than that, weโve created an unforgettable experience for the whole family.โ
