HOW DO YOU MAKE A CLASSIC FAVORITE LIKE A JUICY, DELICIOUS BURGER EVEN BETTER?

Load it up with some good, old-fashioned do-gooding in every bite!  That’s just what we’re doing with the Battle Born Bruger Showcase-Showdown, where every burger fights hunger right here in our community.

IT ALL STARTS WITH THE MONTH-LONG BURGER SHOWCASE

A month spent visiting some of your favorite restaurants and food trucks, on a mission to sample burger after burger (after burger!) – how else will you decide which one to cast a vote for as your favorite?  Participating businesses will each feature a special Hunger Action Month burger on their menu, with $1 from the sale of each burger donated to the Food Bank to provide 3 meals for our neighbors in need.  We can already feel our tastebuds doing a happy dance!

AND THEN IT’S SHOWDOWN TIME!

IDLEWILD PARK | SEPTEMBER 30 ~ 4-9PM

On Friday, September 30, we’re heading to Idlewild Park, firing up the grills, and spending the evening fighting hunger in the tastiest way possible.  Competitors will serve up samples of their burger entry to attendees and our crew of culinary judges, with prizes up for grabs for both the Judge’s Favorite and People’s Choice winners.

BRAGGING RIGHTS – WHO WANTS ’EM?

Think you’ve got what it takes to be named the best of the best?  We’d love to add your business to our lineup of competitors!  Businesses can opt to participate in just the Showcase, the Showdown, or BOTH!  Burger entries at the Burger Showdown will feature ground beef generously provided by Meat Elevated by Rich Jersey LLC.
