About the artist

Allison Prater is a botanical artist from Reno. Currently, she is illustrating a full-length work of non-fiction exploring the relationship humans have with herbs and fungi. As an illustrator, she works primarily in colored pencil and watercolor. She lives on a small urban farm with her husband and son. She blogs about her adventures as a homesteader, homeschool mom, and artist at Herbologie.co.
