Growing up in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, TJ Smith spent most of his childhood navigating nature and drawing and experiencing the visual world around him. His passion for these things led to the study of graphic and communications design at La Roche College in Pittsburgh. Upon graduation, he ventured west, set his sights on California, and experienced one heck of an American pilgrimage. He landed in Truckee, where he currently illustrates, designs, and captures the photogenic atmosphere he now calls home.
“With nature as my muse, I often turn to her for inspiration, believing that good design will influence a better tomorrow,” Smith says.
