Fall 2022

  • Seeds of Hope

โ€œWhen we discovered Columbusโ€ฆโ€ Augustin Jorquez begins, each word enunciated slowly, at a distinctly measured pace. Those four words, startling despite their seeming simplicity, speak volumes.

  • Apple Alchemy

Translated from Old French as โ€œsour wine,โ€ vinegarโ€™s name hints at its origin story. Though touted in recent years as a piquant culinary trend, vinegar has served as a food staple and preservative since as early as 5,000 B.C., when the Babylonians relied on vinegar to preserve food transported over vast distances.

  • Keeping the Faith

It would be a place where Judaism could be taught and explored deeply, and believers could form a community based on camaraderie when faced with global persecution for their beliefs.

Iโ€™m elated to be surrounded by warm hues of orange, yellow, purple, brown, and red.
