Fall 2016

Debbie Gilmore, Hall’s Honey in Yerington”]I know that farmers are under a lot of pressure to feed a lot of people with limited resources. And consumers are picky; they don’t want to see a worm or insect. So farmers do what they must to get a high yield and a marketable product, and that includes using pesticides. I understand that. But somewhere, we have to recognize that we can’t live without bees. We need to come together to find some workable solutions.”
